About this work
Porcelain plate with spreading wall, painted on the glaze in blue, red, green, black and gold. On the flat of the plate a river landscape in encre de Chine with mountains, trees, pavilions and boats, here surrounded by a band of scrollwork; on the wall three cartouches with landscapes in encre de Chine against a ground of dragons between scrollwork. Porcelain with enamel colors and encre de Chine.
