About this work

Bell-shaped porcelain cup with lobed sides, painted on the glaze in blue, red, green, yellow, black and gold. In the center a rosette of stylized floral scrolls depicted; around it a band with floral scrolls and butterflies alternating with three cartouches containing symbols of good fortune: fruit basket (finger lemon, peach), lotus flower with pod or books and scrolls. A crack in the side. Famille rose.
