About this work

Bell-shaped cup and saucer of porcelain, painted on the glaze in blue, red, green, black and gold. On the flat of the saucer in the center a peach branch in a medallion with spearhead border and decorative band with stylized flowers; on the wall four groups with luck symbols (ruyi scepter, lotus, shell, book scrolls, mushroom (lingzhi), pine branch etc.); on the inner rim a band with lacework. The cup with the same decoration. A crack in the wall of the cup. Famille verte.
