About this work
Porcelain plate with a spreading body, painted overglaze in blue, red, pink, green, and gold. On the flat of the plate in the center a medallion formed of flower branches in a scalloped cartouche with stylized lotus; on the body a band with flowering plants (peony) on reticulated work and three hanging pomegranates. Two cracks in the body of the plate. Famille rose.
