About this work
Porcelain figurine of a standing man and woman on a pedestal, painted on biscuit in blue, red, celadon green, and black. The two stand next to each other on the pedestal. The woman holds a fan in her right hand, the man holds an object in his right hand and wears a hat. Heads, hands, and feet are unglazed; the tip of the lady's shoe is missing. Old label on the underside with 'A.J. Spijer & Zoon Antiquaires Amsterdam'. Email sur biscuit.
