About this work

Rectangular tea caddy of porcelain, covered with a light blue/turquoise glaze and painted on the glaze in blue, red, green, yellow, purple and black. On the broad sides a cut-out lotus-shaped cartouche with antiquities (vases, peacock feathers, ruyi scepter, book scrolls, mushroom (lingzhi), fan, etc.), the narrow sides with carnations in cut-out, leaf-shaped cartouche; on the shoulder two cut-out medallions with stylized flower. The lid with on the top side a cut-out medallion with stylized flower. A crack in the wall. European forms with enamel colors.
