About this work
Egg-shaped covered pot of porcelain, painted in underglaze blue. On the belly three scalloped cartouches with flowering plants (peony, iris, chrysanthemum, lotus) at a rock. Between the cartouches a lotus vine. On the shoulder a wide, decorative band with different patterns. The neck with a decorative band. The lid with the same decoration; on the lid knob a stylized flower. Blue and white.
