About this work

Stem cup of porcelain with foot and long stem, painted in underglaze blue. The cup is covered with a layer of soft-paste. The foot is painted with a band of ruyi motifs and four treasures (ruby); the stem with twice a decorative band above and below a ring-shaped thickening; on the cup flowering plants with rocks and a butterfly; the inner rim with a band of lacework. Cup has been broken. Blue and white.
