About this work

Octagonal porcelain stool or stool, painted in underglaze blue. On the wall a wide, continuous band with lotus scrolls. On two opposite sides a double openwork coin. At the bottom and top of the wall a band with lobed cartouches with lotus scrolls; between them knobs in relief. The top with a band with lotus scrolls, an openwork coin motif and a band with a meander pattern. The bottom is open. A crack in the wall. Blue and white.
