About this work

Porcelain dish with a bracket-shaped rim, painted in underglaze blue. On the flat surface a river landscape with various birds in the water, on a rock, in a tree or flying. Further a fenced pavilion with trees and plants. On the rim a continuous river landscape with five islands with trees, rocks and a pavilion; between the islands boats. The outer rim with alternating flower scrolls and three dots. On the outer wall three times a peach branch. On the foot a band with scrollwork. Sandy clay on the footring. Ming porcelain in blue and white.
