About this work
Porcelain basket with two modeled handles, painted on the glaze in blue, red, pink, green, black and gold. On the bottom the coat of arms of the Van Idsinga family with a blue background with a silver rose or flower and a pair of golden clovers. The crest is a peacock and the coat of arms is surrounded by leafy vines, around the coat of arms a decorative band; the wall is openwork (ajourwerk) with on the inner edge a band with flower vines surrounded by two decorative bands. Handles were broken and reattached with two rivets. Armorial porcelain with enamel colors.
