Oval porcelain salt cellar, painted on the glaze in blue, red, pink, green, black and gold. In the vessel the coat of arms of the Van Idsinga family with a blue background featuring a silver rose or flower and a few golden clovers. The crest is a peacock and the coat of arms is surrounded by leafy vines; on the rim a decorative band; the wall with a band of floral vines framed by two decorative bands. A chip in the rim.
