About this work
Lined wedding kimono (uchikake), decorated on the back panels with a large phoenix (hoo), with blooming paulownia and chrysanthemums below and on the sleeves. White silk with painted yuzen decoration in blue, brown, green, red and purple. Lining of red silk. Three family crests (mon) of bamboo leaf.
