About this work

Haori for a man with a lining decoration of a rocky landscape with water and a hut imitating a fan painting, below which is a band of strips with geometric motifs featuring an image of a brocade tea caddy bag (chaire) and a porcelain incense burner, above which is a band with scattered dragons and turtles in a key-fret pattern. Black glossy silk (habutae) with brocade-woven decoration. Five family crests (mon) of comma motifs (tomoe).
