About this work

Porcelain plate with standing wall and sloping rim, painted in underglaze blue. The front is covered with bleu poudré (powder blue) with five cartouches cut out; on the flat a flower-shaped cartouche with a fisherman in a river landscape, on the wall two fan-shaped compartments with a river landscape with rocks and trees, and two leaf-shaped compartments with rocks and flower branches. Marked on the underside with a mushroom (lingzhi) in a double circle. On the underside an engraved, unidentified Chinese collector's mark. Bleu poudré with blue-and-white.
