About this work
Round box of porcelain, painted in underglaze blue and on the glaze gold. The box is, except on the underside, covered with bleu poudré (powder blue); on the lid a rock with flowering plants and a fence; around the rim a decorative band with lacework. A crack in the box. Bleu poudré with gold.
