About this work

Rosewater dropper or point bottle of porcelain with pear-shaped body, covered with a café-au-lait glaze and painted in underglaze blue. The lower part of the body is covered with a light brown glaze above which a band with a thick cream-coloured glaze; the upper part in underglaze blue with a geometric band alternated with a flower in a medallion, above it valuables (rhombus) and antiquities (vase, tripod, sceptre, books); the neck with pointed leaf motifs. Monochrome brown with blue and white.
