About this work

Bowl or kraaikop of porcelain with scalloped edge, painted in underglaze blue. The outer wall is divided into wide and narrow compartments with in the wide compartments flowering plants (peony, bamboo, lotus, narcissus) and insects (cricket, butterfly); the narrow compartments with bows. On the bottom a bird on a rock. The inner wall also with a compartment decoration with in the wide compartments asters and branches and in the narrow compartments dots. Kraak porcelain in blue-white.
