About this work
Tall porcelain cup with ribbed wall and scalloped rim, painted in underglaze blue. The wall is divided into six compartments with alternating scrollwork in reserve against a blue ground and two cartouches with scrollwork in reserve on a white ground. A chip in the rim. Blue-and-white.
