About this work

Tall, bell-shaped covered porcelain beaker; tall, spreading foot, painted in underglaze blue. On the body two rows of petal-shaped compartments containing flowering plants applied with hatching; between the compartments in the upper row, a half-flower each; the rim with a continuous leaf scroll; on the foot, three times a stylized flower. The lid with the same decoration. The lid is glued in place. Blue and white.
