About this work
Egg-shaped lidded pot of porcelain with hexagonal body and flat, unglazed underside, painted in underglaze blue. On the wall six elongated cartouches with indented corners with therein flowering plants at a rock. The lid with a dancing boy (fool) in a landscape. Lid is not matching. A crack in the rim of the pot. Blue-and-white.
