About this work

Porcelain plate with ribbed wall and scalloped rim, painted in underglaze blue. On the flat surface floral scrolls in a medallion with a band of hatching; the wall with floral scrolls and a band of hatching; the reverse with four lotus plants. Marked on the underside with a rhombus in a double circle. A crack in the rim. Blue and white.
