About this work

Teacup and saucer of porcelain, painted in underglaze blue. The front of the saucer and the outside of the cup are covered with bleu poudré (powder blue) with here cut out three times a flying crane; on the flat of the saucer and the bottom of the cup a medallion with lingzhi; the inner rim of the bowl with a decorative band of hatching work. A crack in the wall of the cup; three cracks in the saucer. Bleu poudré.
