About this work

Figure of a shishi (lion-dog) in porcelain on an openwork stand, painted on the glaze in blue, red, pink, green, yellow, purple, black and gold. The shishi has its head turned to the left and rests its left paw on an openwork ball with floral rosettes; on the stand two bands with scrollwork and hatching, in the center floral rosettes on a napkin pattern. Famille rose.
