About this work

Egg-shaped lidded pot of porcelain, painted on the glaze in blue, red, green, yellow, aubergine and black. The wall is divided into four compartments with therein alternating a woman with a fan in an enclosed garden and a flowerpot with flowering plants (chrysanthemum), a rock and a banner. Above the foot a band with flower scrolls. The shoulder with a band of lacework interrupted by antiquities in cartouches (qin, scrolls, books, go-game). The lid with antiquities and lacework. Famille Verte.
