Ovoid covered jar with flower baskets and auspicious symbols

Egg-shaped lidded pot of porcelain, painted in underglaze blue and on the glaze in blue, red, pink, green, black and gold. On the wall twice an openwork handle basket with a chilong (hornless dragon) in a shaped cartouche. The basket is filled with flower and fruit branches (peony, chrysanthemum, prunus, finger citron, magnolia). Between them also twice a flower vase on a low table. On the vase the head of a shishi (lion dog) with a ring in its mouth. The vase is surrounded by lucky objects (table with scrolls, ruyi scepter, fan, qin, incense burner, bowl with mushrooms (lingzhi) and scrolls). On the shoulder an irregular band with peony scrolls on 'frog spawn', leaf scrolls, chrysanthemum scrolls, flower rosettes and peach blossom 'crackled ice'. Around the foot a band with chrysanthemum scrolls. The neck with peony branches. The lid with the same decoration. Lidded pot is part of cabinet set AK-RBK-15919. Famille rose.
