About this work
Baluster-shaped lidded jar of porcelain, painted on the glaze in blue, red, pink, green, black, and gold. On the body, a continuous river landscape with figures in boats. In the river, several islands with figures on terraces or near pavilions. In the landscape, various pine and cherry blossom trees. Mountains in the background. Around the foot and on the shoulder, a band with floral scrolls interrupted by a chrysanthemum. The neck with three peony branches. Two cracks in the neck. Famille rose.
