Beaker vase with figures, flower sprays and auspicious symbols in shaped panels on a multi-colored ground

Porcelain beaker with trumpet-shaped neck and ribbed body, painted on the glaze in blue, red, pink, green, yellow, purple, black and gold. On the body cartouches against a multicolored background of vertical stripes (harlequin pattern); two cartouches in the form of open scrolls with a woman (long dress) with a boy (page) in an enclosed garden with flowering plants, below two leaf-shaped cartouches with peony and butterfly, on either side of the large compartments a smaller pomegranate- and finger-lime-shaped compartment with luck symbols; on the rim a band with floral scrolls. On the underside two old labels with 'S.K. 21' and '17100/ 91 [...]003/ 5'. A chip in the rim. Part of a five-piece cabinet set. Famille rose.
