About this work

Ovoid lidded pot of porcelain, painted in underglaze blue. On the wall a scene in a garden with trees, rocks and plants: two women (long eyebrows) looking at a flower vase on a table; two women at a table and stool, one carries a rabbit, the other has a twig in her hand. The lid with two dancing boys (zotjes) at rocks and plants. Marked on the underside with an artemisia leaf. A crack in the neck. Blue-and-white.
