About this work
Lidded pot of porcelain on foot with two handles in the shape of two monster heads, painted on the glaze in blue, red, green, yellow, aubergine, black and gold. The pot is covered with flowers and flower branches on a green speckled ground, in which two large fields are cut out with antiquities (vases, peacock feathers, coral, censer, tripod, qilin statue, man with beard, books, lotus stem, scroll painting etc.). The lid with the same decoration. Lid has been broken. Famille verte.
