About this work

Egg-shaped porcelain vase with a short, slightly tapering neck, painted on the glaze in blue, red, pink, brown, green, yellow, black and gold. On the wall floral scrolls and cartouches; two large cartouches with men, women and children in a landscape with trees and pavilion, between them two smaller cartouches with a woman with a child on the back of an ox in a landscape; above and below cartouches with landscapes; around the neck a meander band. Neck was broken. Famille rose / Mandarin.
