About this work

Bell-shaped porcelain bowl, painted in underglaze blue and overglaze with blue, red, green, yellow, and black. On the outer wall, a large hydrangea branch with four birds. The base with a peony branch; on the inner rim, a band with lacework interrupted by cartouches with precious objects (artemisia leaf, pearl, rhombus, scroll). Marked on the underside with the six-character mark of Emperor Chenghua in a double circle. Famille verte.
