About this work

Porcelain dish, painted in underglaze blue and on the glaze in red, green, yellow and black. On the flat surface two Chinese persons (hermits) in a landscape with mountains and trees. The outer wall with three times a pearl with four dots. Marked on the underside with the four-character mark of Emperor Tianqi in a double circle. Kiln sand on the footring. Ko-sometsuke.
