Brazier with crane-shaped medallions and ornamental borders

Footed bowl of porcelain in the form of a bowl on a high foot with a loose inner bowl and a lid. Painted in underglaze blue. On the outside of the bowl with foot four medallions in the form of a crane; between them a cloud motif and horizontal lines. Around the foot a band with stylized flower leaves; the outer rim with a decorative band. On the foot three bands: one with an upright leaf motif, one with two flower vines and one with a meander pattern. The outer wall with four small handles in the form of monster heads. The inner bowl is undecorated with an unglazed inner and outer rim. The lid with the same decoration as the bowl on foot. Arita, blue-and-white.
