About this work

Porcelain bowl with the wall modeled in the form of flower petals and a lobed rim, painted in underglaze blue and overglaze red and gold. On the flat, flowering plants (peony and prunus), rocks, and clouds. The wall is covered in blue with three flowering branches in gold on the glaze. The exterior of the wall is also covered in blue. Five feet on the underside. On the underside, the six-character mark of Emperor Chenghua. Imari.
