About this work
Square porcelain bottle, painted in underglaze blue. On the four walls each a flowering tree near a rock. On the round shoulder 'karakusa vines'. The neck with two flower vines. The flat lid with 'karakusa vines' and a stylized flower on the flattened lid knob. The lid probably does not belong to this bottle. The rim of the bottle is restored. Arita, Kakiemon in blue-and-white.
