Covered bowl or butter boat of porcelain with two handles and on three feet in the form of a monster head, painted in underglaze blue. The outside of the bowl is divided into broad and narrow compartments with alternately in the broad compartments a stylized figure in a landscape and lotus vines; the narrow compartments with a flower branch. On the bottom a peony branch. The lobed rim with flower vines. The lid does not belong to the bowl and is with a cloud motif cut out in a blue background; the lid knob in the form of a shishi (lion dog). The decoration of the bowl is based on Chinese kraak porcelain. Two feet have been broken. Blue-and-white.
