About this work

Porcelain plate with a round wall and a thick, everted rim. Painted in underglaze blue. On the front in the center a square with on either side a semi-circular panel with in one two flying geese between clouds before the sun or the moon, in the other a river landscape with a sailing boat on the water. Between these panels floral scrolls with in them two cut-out medallions with flowering plants or a tree in a landscape. The outer wall with large leaf scrolls with dots. A firing pin on the underside. Arita, blue and white.
