About this work
Bowl of porcelain with an acanthus-leaf shaped rim, painted in underglaze blue. The front of the dish with a river landscape with two Chinese men in a pavilion. A third man with a servant approaches over a bridge. Around the pavilion flowering trees (plum, pine), rocks, a vase and spiral clouds. The outer wall with a continuous floral scroll. Marked on the underside with 'fuku' in a double square and a circle. Six feet on the underside. Some chips in the rim. Arita, Kakiemon in blue and white.
