About this work
Album with 72 illustrations and descriptions in book print on 87 album leaves. It mainly consists of calligraphic writing samples, with texts in various languages. The writing samples appeared under the title: Spieghel der schrijfkonste. With the second and third parts 'Thresor Literaire' and the 'Fondement-Boeck'. The three parts are introduced with a dedication and a series of threshold poems. The third part includes extensive descriptions of the letter types and the technique of calligraphy. Parchment binding with two flyleaves at the back.
