About this work

Album with 40 studies of hands and possible designs for or studies after portraits. The names of the sitters are unknown. The album previously contained more drawings by various artists, including possibly Anthony van Dyck, Arnold Boonen, Godfried Schalken, Cornelis Jonson van Ceulen (I) and Mattheus Verheyden (see related objects). The first two album leaves are blank.
