Album with 53 images on 56 album leaves. The album contains three series engraved by Johannes or Lucas van Doetechum after designs by Vredeman de Vries. They are: Den eersten boeck ghemaeckt op de twee Colomnen Dorica en Ionica, 1565; Das ander Buech, gemacht auff die zway Colonnen Corinthia und Composita, 1565; and Architectura de Oorden Tuschana, 1578. They depict pedestals, plinths, entablatures, consoles, capitals, facades, and windows in the Doric, Ionic, Corinthian, Composite, and Tuscan orders. Each series is preceded by a title page and introduction. Half-leather binding with plates of decorative paper, with a flyleaf at the front and back.
