About this work

In the temple, various Pharisees bring a woman caught in adultery to Christ. The Pharisees ask what Christ thinks of the law of Moses, which states that such women must be stoned. Christ has written with his finger on the ground and says, while looking up, that he who is without sin should cast the first stone. Print forms part of a book.
