Album with design drawings for interior decorations with landscapes and ornaments and some figure studies

Album consisting of 102 sheets with 130 drawings on 124 sheets (six drawings on both recto and verso). Mainly design drawings for wall hangings and tapestry paintings, with landscapes and ornaments. Additionally some figure studies and drawings after existing paintings. The first part of the album contains drawings by Jurriaan Andriessen. When the album was donated, drawings by Abraham van Strij acquired in 1898 were added. Some drawings have been removed from the album over the years, see related objects. Album sheets 1, 2, 4, 12, 13, 17, 19, 20, 31, 33, 62, and 91 are blank.
