About this work
In the upper left, Moses receives the tablets of the law on Mount Sinai. Meanwhile, the Israelites dance around a pedestal with the golden calf. When Moses returned and saw their idolatry, he threw the tablets to the ground in anger (Ex. 32:1). With a Latin motto above the scene and a four-line Latin inscription below the print. The print is part of an album.
