About this work

The wounded man wears armor and has a blood-stained bandage around his head. He is supported by two men. One of them carries his helmet. In the foreground, two men bow and remove their hats for the soldier. In the background, a castle and a crowd holding weapons in the air. Drawing on sheet 14 of an album with 35 drawings.
