Battle of Gembloux, 31 January 1578. A field battle where the States' army is defeated by the army of Farnese. In the distance on the left, the city of Namur. In the foreground, riders cross a body of water towards the battlefield. Bottom right, a cartouche with the title and legend A-T in French.
