About this work

At the top center the zodiac sign Aquarius. In the bottom left corner the stable where Joseph and his family are sleeping. Joseph is woken by an angel and warned of Herod's plans. In the bottom right corner the family departs for Egypt. Winter hilly landscape in the background. Four lines of Latin in two columns below the representation (Matthew 2). The print is part of an album.
