About this work

A father feeds a small child on his lap. The mother stands by the hearth where a pot hangs over the fire. A small child sits on the floor by a stool eating. This peasant family is situated in a poor interior with various household attributes and a bed alcove in the background. The print is part of a portfolio and is printed with another print on one album leaf.
