About this work

Japan-style dress with volants on the underside of the skirt; three lamé volants form a short cape. 'Toilette' of 'bengaline cachemire' (cashmere) with a black 'passe-partout' forming the stripes. Fabrics by Chavanis et Cie. Print from the fashion magazine Très Parisien (1920-1936).
